VIJAY JOSE SCHOLARSHIP AWARD
APPLICATION FORM
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:
The purpose of the
Vijay Jose Scholarship award is to provide scholarship support to a deserving
UMBC undergraduate with junior or senior class status. The student must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
and be majoring in information systems.
Preference will be given to a student who demonstrates an interest in
the UMBC student activities program. The
amount of the award is $200 for the academic year. The award will be announced by October 1,
2006.
CRITERIA:
The student selected to
receive this award should:

Be a full-time degree-seeking student in good standing at UMBC
Ø
Have a minimum 3.0 GPA
Ø
Be a junior or senior currently enrolled at UMBC, majoring in
information systems
Ø
Demonstrate an interest in the UMBC student activities program.
