I am always searching for an opportunity to contribute to a talented design firm.
My aim is to help innovate in the field of animation and interactivity from an objective
existential perspective. It is my goal to broaden my own horizons as well as work with talented creative professionals in my field and others to create new and exciting content.

A Little History:

In 1983, I was born in St. Petersburg, Russia. Soon after, I began to develop my
skills in art. I grew up in a very fine arts oriented family and as quickly as I was able to
pick up a pencil, I was at my grandfather’s apartment drawing regularly. At the end of
1989, my family and I moved to the United States to live in the suburbs of Washington DC.

After the first couple years of adjusting to the culture and language of America,
I was enrolled in a few junior classes at the Corcoran Academy of Art in Washington DC.
There, I strengthened my foundations of drawing and sculpting. I continued my
education starting in my middle school art classes, inadequate as they were, they
provided an outlet for creativity.

In 1998, I was part of the first freshman class at James Hubert Blake High
School. This school was a brand new arts and humanities school in the Silver Spring
area of suburban Maryland. Before high school I had never really explored the realm
of digital arts. As time went by, I found a new love for computer based creative outlets.
Oddly enough, I began with 3D modeling and rendering. Later, as animation based
web media became more and more prominent, I began to take interest in web design
and interactive media. Along with basic programming classes and free time in the
digital arts lab, I taught myself the basics of flash.

At the end of high school, I had already decided what I wanted to do in college
and decided to attend the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. In college, I was
given the chance to learn new various traditional animation techniques and to further
my abilities in what I already knew. Aside from classes, I worked at the school
print/design shop for three years. There I received the opportunity to learn about more
conventional printing and designing methods for posters, banners, booklets and other
various printed goods.
