What is the Culture Based Model?

Globalized learning is the path of the future! Literacy is no longer confined to the pages of a book; knowledge can be acquired across worlds through the Internet. New information and communication technologies (ICTs) bring into view the need to develop innovative theories, methods, practices, models and ideas. Given this, my research seeks to provide some forward thinking in the areas of design, culture, literacy and ICTs.

Comments from referred reviewers:
“I feel this is an important topic due to the fact that the education industry is becoming revolutionized with the advents of technology, but also emphasizing the importance and integration of culture and cultural implications in design[ing] products for learners.  Since we are in a globalized tapestry and learning takes place in diverse settings with diverse learners, this CBM model may prove to be supportive for learning and a best option for generations to come.” Reviewer #1

“It is especially of interest for universities worldwide that are shifting towards Virtual Education Delivery using information and communication technology to facilitate knowledge sharing and to gain competitive advantage.” Reviewer #3
