Personal Information

I am currently a Junior at UMBC studying Computer Science. Computers have long been my passion, since my father is an Electrical Engineer and my mother is a Computer Scientist. I have owned my own computer since age three and had my career plans set out early on. Aside from computers, some of my hobbies include knitting and writing, and I hope to someday publish a novel (and actually finish knitting a blanket!)
On campus, I work for the UMBC Graduate school (you can learn more by visiting my Professional page) where I am part of the SADI project. I am also a member of Alpha Sigma Alpha sorority, Epsilon Tau chapter and serve as the chapter's Webmaster.
I live in Maryland with my parents and younger brother, as well as our two cats Milo and Cleopatra whom I am very fond of. I also own a Betta fish from participating in my sorority's philanthropy event, Fish Pong, earlier this semester, and have named him Walter Joseph Kovacs after the character in Watchmen.
