About me

I am a graduate student in the Department of Information Systems at University of Maryland Baltimore County. I'm working with Dr. Nirmalya Roy since January, 2014 at Mobile, Pervasive and Sensor Computing Lab (MPSC Lab). My research interests focus on - Deep Learning, Transfer Learning, Human Activity Recognition, Occupancy Detection. Currently I'm working on deep transfer learning enabled human activity recognition in wearable computing paradigm.

I have completed my B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangladesh University of engineering and Technology (BUET). After completed my B.Sc. I worked as a software engineer in several software companies in Bangladesh.
