    Project Website Requirements

    Personal Web Page 

    • Due: Feb 15, 2000
    • Send an email to me with the entire link
    • (for example:  http://www.gl.umbc.edu/~yourname/)


    Requirements

    • the page and all links off the page should be in THE SAME DIRECTORY
    • (You will eventually create a new directory called ENCH772, and ALL YOUR PROJECT FILES will live in this same directory – I’ll explain in class)
    • contact information with email address as a link (i.e., name, phone, etc.)
    • link to CBE dept. page
    • link to at least 3 interesting sites (you define interesting!)
    • link to your resume 
    • one scanned image (e.g., a photo, preferably of yourself) any format
    • one JPG image (tasteful, your choice)
    • one GIF image (ditto)
    • one image map with at least two links
    • one table with at least 3 rows and three columns (this can be a link off your main page; try putting different colors or images in the table)
    • attractive format. Possibilities but not required are:
      • colors
      • backgrounds
      • divider bars
      • I don’t like blinking text 
      • I don’t like scrolling marquis in the info bar
    • I will give extra credit if you have a cgi interactive script on your page.
