The website contains enormous amount of information.
I feel like reading an continuous culture
encyclopedia. The author obviously did a great amount
of work and organize the materials well. I enjoy
reading the introduction page, although it's not
directly relative to continuous cultivation. It
reminds me biotechnology in our real life. After
reading a few pages, I start to feel that there is too
much text and not enough illustrative stuff. Each page
contains a nice story, but I have to keep my self
completely focused in order to avoid information
overflow.
The left frame of the pages is organized very well and
serves well as a navigator. The way that links emerge
with texts has its own advantage, but should not
completely substitute a separate list of links with
brief explanation. Because only with some description
can a reader decide whether it's worth going to the
link. There is also a disadvantage by using frames
instead of tables for the layout of the website: the
address that appears on the address bar of the browser
never changes.
I like the "methods for continous cultivation" part
best because of those graphs.
Overall, it's a great website that I might come back
to visit in the future. But the design could be made
better to fit as an Internet guide.
