In January 2002, Margot embarked on a trip to Mexico with her friends Dianna and Sergio Flores, and their children.  Margot was intent on going because she had helped build their house in the state of Quintana Roo, and Dianna had not yet been able to see the house.  Margot very much wanted to be with Dianna when she saw the house for the first time.

These pictures were taken during the drive from Los Angeles to the village of Tulum, on the coast between Cancun and Chetumal.  

These are the last known photographs of Margot alive.

I love this final picture of Margot.  It reflects both her humor and her beauty.  It is a pose fitting a person to be revered and honored.
