In your evaluation, imagine that you are an editor for a scholarly history journal composed of papers prepared by advanced undergraduate students. Be sure to back up your criticism (both negative and positive) with specific examples.
1) Is the thesis clear and supported by historical evidence?
2) Does the paper use primary and secondary sources that you would expect for this topic?
3) Is the paper logically organized?
4) Is the paper well-written?
5) Does the author provide an interesting perspective on the topic?
6) Would you publish the piece as is, or does it need revision?
