Definition Exercise

Part 1. To prepare for the expanded definition, test three terms from your major or your current job. Write a formal sentence definition for each term and list the expansion techniques that you feel will best explain the term to your audience. Send your terms to the Discussion Board.

Part 2. Select one classmate to respond to. Read her/his terms, definitions, and listed techniques; then write a short note saying which term will make the best paper topic. Send the note to the Discussion Board using the Reply button. Do not choose someone who has already been chosen.
