Sentence composing achieves its goal of improved sentences by manipulating professional model sentences in the four ways below. Although the four techniques use those model sentences in different ways, all four focus students on the architecture of model sentences. Students imitate those model sentences, using them as blueprints to construct their own similar sentences.
