A Perfect Circle - Emotive

Thumpermonkey - Bring Me Sun for Breakfast

The Society of Rockets - Where the Grass Grows Black
- Rock enough for any junkie, with enough indie to spice it up some.
The Black Keys - Your Touch EP
- Funky bluesy rock, definitely something to check out.
Sex Machineguns - HEAVY METAL THUNDER
- Japanese speed metal. Found these guys by accident looking for a wikipedia article on Sex Panther (the fake cologne from Anchorman), go figure. It's a little hard to get your hands on their music, but GoMusic has the album.
Andrew W.K. - Party Hard
- Trashy delicious party music. Something that would perfectly accompany a large group of people moshing.
Wil Deynes - STAY EP
- FREE! Very nice sound and such.
The White Stripes - Icky Thump
- It's the White Stripes. To be honest, this isn't even "under a rock." I just felt like playing it, since I found it in the booth.
50 Foot Wave - Golden Ocean
- Not miraculous, but worth a listen. They seem to have a few free songs for download on this site. Enjoy!
The Cure - Join The Dots (B-Sides and Rarities)
- I'm not really that big on The Cure, but I got this CD for the holidays, and really enjoyed the Purple Haze covers on it.
Soraria - Recipe for Disaster
- It seems like every week I'm going to play at least one group that's TOTALLY off the charts. I can't find these guys online anywhere. Pretty cool prog. rock-ish stuff.Mad Caddies - Rock the Plank
- Of course, no show would be complete without the delicious ska-plug. This is definitely my favorite ska band. Ever. No, seriously. This album rules.
Well, that's it for this week. Sorry about the late notes, and see you all next Wednesday.
