A Call for a Multi-Resource Database

Resources that exist to help the needy within the state Maryland are so difficult to find that those who need help are often unable to obtain them. Contact information for, and even the existence of, assistance programs is difficult to discover, and databases of resource information are inaccurate, incomplete, and not well publicized. This prevents caseworkers who help those in need from finding the services that would best serve their clients quickly, or even at all. To solve this problem, Maryland needs a comprehensive, well-publicized online database of the services available to those in need.
