THE
VESSEL SERIES,
2000

As
the materials of bark, leaves, wax paper,
metal are "skins," I use these
materials to create vessels (or a new body)
to hold my body fibers (hair, fingernails,
skin). Environmental factors (such as air,
rain, smoke, dust, food spices, ink, etc.)
that are absorbed into my body fibers are
put in contact with the skins of nature
into new vessels or bodies.
