    (January 1994 - present). Member of the cost accounting department. Currently responsible for the monthly preparation and distribution of invoices for 30 tasks which are valued at approximately $4 million. This includes resolving billing issues with customers, posting of invoices to Deltek, and analysis of unbilled costs. Created Excel model to facilitate unbilled analysis. Implemented the automated billing function in Deltek and began automating billings. Prepared and analyzed reconciliation between Aged Receivables and General Ledger. Assisted with approval of labor corrections.

    Previously program control support on The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) DSR contract. Responsible for weekly labor hours expenditure report delivered to the customer. Designed and implemented hours expended and profitability report; and full time accounting report for management. In addition, provide pricing support on DSR. Responsible for implementation of Deltek and FLAIR Labor Accounting System on DSR. Worked as part of the Advanced Automation System (AAS) termination proposal team. Compiled and priced actual cost data from inception to date for the AAS Contract Actuals Proposal to meet the requirements of the Termination for Convenience. Assisted with gathering and analyzing data for use in the termination proposal. Performed major audit and reconciliation of labor corrections and ODCs associated with mass corrections to ensure accuracy and completeness of the data. Compiled data on fixed price/level of effort tasks and performed analysis of profitability. Established a system of tracking and processing labor and ODC corrections. Initiated a process for verifying invoices before delivery to the client. Responsibilities also include processing labor and ODC reports and tracking ODCs through the accounting system. The program control function is the key liaison between the program staff and accounting.

    Cost Accountant, 10/89-12/93 Oversaw financial requirements of $107 million EPA telecommunications contract. Used Deltek accounting system to prepare and verify invoices; monitor contract and overhead expenses; verify expenses and direct labor costs are accurately recorded; and track status of monthly labor hours and contract completion for both time and materials and cost plus fee contracts. Responsible for preparation of budget and revenue forecast at division level for corporate and EPA management. Interact with NMI finance and accounting staff on budget and operations requirements, purchasing and vendor payment issues and cash flow requirements. Interact with government auditors during financial audits. Involved with planning and implementing NMI Certified Procurement Center. Responsible for tracking purchase of inventory and Government Furnished Contractor Acquired Equipment. Monitor costs and labor hours effort of a subcontractor. Additionally, negotiated with prime contractor on financial and operating procedures. Duties required daily interface with government Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (Delivery Order Project Officer) and NMI contract staff.

Investigated international supply and demand of hardwood products.
