Anyone know where it's available and is it any good? SIRMick EAC more or less supports shorten out of the box. You need the command line shortn32.exe or shorten.exe program (available at http://etree.org). Install it someplace on your PC, and then fire up EAC. Go to EAC Menu > Compression Options > External Compression. Check "Use external program for compression" and select "Shorten Lossless Encoder" under "Parameter passing scheme". Then setup the full path to your shortn32.exe or shorten.exe in the "Porgram, including path, used for compression" box. Now to rip a CD directly to SHN, select the tracks and either click the "MP3" Icon or hist Shift-F5. -- Caleb Epstein | bklyn . org | After Goliath's defeat, giants ceased to cae at | Brooklyn Dust | command respect. - Freeman Dyson bklyn dot org | Bunny Mfg. |
