Canadian Association of Geographers, Geography of Health and Health Care Specialty Group. This group was formed in 1977 and became "officially recognized" by the CAG in 1981. The purpose of the GHHCSG is to facilitate the exchange of ideas and information among researchers interested in health geography issues. Members are kept up-to-date on conferences, employment and research opportunities through the use of an informal email distribution list and Website (unfortunately, as of the end of 2009, the site [ http://www.caghealth.ca] seems to have had no updates or signs of activity for some years). However, the Chairperson, Nicole Yantzi, may be contacted at nyantzi@laurentian.ca
