The team projects are ready to start! Click here for
a list of the project teams and members. Then go to http://blackboard.umbc.edu/ and log into the course site. There will be an
announcement there with further instructions. The material on this webpage will be
moved, over the next week, to the Blackboard site, which will become the
official site of this course. September 17, 2002

under Class Materials. Also, the schedule has been finalized.
You’ll notice that some student-led class sessions now have 4 students listed
as the leaders. The fourth person, in these cases, will be demonstrating a
tool or software application that is relevant to the topic. Also, there is a handout about the team
project, below under Project Requirements, General Guidelines. September 12, 2002

for the final schedule of class sessions, including topics and leaders. HOWEVER, there are still 4 students who have not
contacted me with their preferences. There are no more slots on the schedule,
so those 4 students need to contact me right away so we can figure out a way
to fulfill this part of the course grade. I have some ideas, but would like
to talk to these students to explore possibilities. September 4, 2002
