"Art is not just defined by drawing or painting very well, art is a way of life. An animator studies the movement of their world and can breathe life into any creation. Even though animation is my main emphasis, I enjoy experimenting in many different artistic and technical fields. No matter where my career path takes me, I hope to positively impact communities, and entertain those whom I inspire."

Breakdown Breakdown
Quicktime Video, 3D animation

A piece done in Maya exhibiting plenty of robots and textures. Sadly, one of the older robotic models just can’t keep up with the rest. I plan to revise this once I delve deeper into 3D animation.

Infection Infection
Quicktime Video, Claymation

A collaborative project with Irene Colorado and Seth Mussey.  It plays with some of the more ridiculous aspects of the technological age. This includes a form of net speak called "l33t" which mixes letters and numbers. While everyone contributed to the animation and editing, my greatest contribution was in lighting and set building.

Flushed Flushed
Quicktime Video, Pixillation

A humorous and strange pixillation project concerning the revenge of a toilet paper roll against a young college student.

Self Portrait Self Portrait
Quicktime Video, series of charcoal drawings

A short animation drawn entirely in charcoal (inspired by William Kentridge) that symbolizes my struggle with chronic pain and reaching my dreams.

Funky Fungi Funky Fungi
Quicktime Video, 3D animation

Simple 3D animation experimenting with interacting shapes and bouncy fungi. This was not inspired by any outside influences, despite the extremely bright colors and mushrooms.

Spray Bottle Spray Bottle
Nurbs model

A nurbs model based off the water spray bottle I use for my plants. My favorite part is the curvy green bottle since it was the most challenging.

Toy Octopus Toy Octopus
Polygon model

Polygon model based off of a toy octopus I own. My favorite project from my Intro to Computer Animation class, I also created the textures and maps.

Memory Memory
Quicktime Video

My narrative final for my time based media class. It reflects a single man's memories and regrets in an interesting interplay of flashbacks and color. It's based off of one of my favorite poems of all time- T.S. Eliot's "Rhapsody on A Windy Night," and frames itself around the poem's abstract and visual imagery.

Spider 1 Spider 1
Acrylic Surreal Painting

First in a series of surreal paintings based off a dream I had years ago.

Ribcage Ribcage
Photo, Nikon D70, REALVIZ Stitcher

A stitched interior 360 degree photograph of the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen in Baltimore, MD done for the Imaging Research Center Fellowship.

UMBC Dance Dance Revolution Club Flyer UMBC Dance Dance Revolution Club Flyer
Ink, Digital Coloring and Editing

I designed the female mascot and flyer design for the UMBC Dance Dance Revolution Club when I was their Secretary. This addictive music game originated from Japan, so it only seemed natural to design her in the manga/anime style.
