TUNING GUIDE: SUSPENSION: SWAYBARS

Front Swaybar: $120-180

Rear Swaybar: $180-210

Swaybars are designed to reduce sway when taking corners, so actually think if them as anti-swaybars or anti-rollbars. By stiffening the cars chassis through the use of larger and stronger swaybars body roll is significantly reduced improving control and delivering precise handling. Most VWs come equipped with swaybars but are small and weak, by upgrading to larger, stiffer swaybars you will notice a huge difference in how your car handles. Typically you will want to install both front and rear swaybars to achieve the best handling characteristics. There are quite a few various tuners who sell swaybars and you really can't go wrong with which one you buy.
