For the ultimate in suspension setups coilovers are the way
to go.
Coilovers imploy the spring and shock all in one piece. Allowing
infinate
height adjustment by the means of a threaded shaft you can set the
car
exactly where you want it without cutting springs or going through
more than
one set of springs. As well as height adjustment many coilover
kits are
equipped with a damping control as well to adjust the stiffness of
the shock.
Typically a coilover setup will provide better handling, but the
cost is
much higher than that of the conventional spring and shock setup.
