Project Description

• First Scene: Scroll is picked up and opened; it is a design in charcoal of a sword. A shot of the design is seen, then lowered to see the unfinished sword sitting on a workbench. 
• Second Scene: Sword master places the blade in the coal furnace and watches it heat. 
• Third Scene: With tongs, or a really thick smith glove, he places the sword on the anvil and hammering begins. 
• Fourth Scene: Successfully hammered and shaped, the sword is plunged into water. It is still dull and unsharpened. 
• Fifth Scene: The sword master pours some polishing liquid on the sword and sharpens it. 
• Sixth Scene: The sword master fastens the blade to the hilt. 
• Seventh Scene: The sword master takes a practice cross-cut with the blade. Totally satisfied, he grins. 
• Eighth Scene: The sword master hangs the sword on his display wall, in the center of his other pieces. This sword is truly his masterpiece.
