IS 125-Information Systems Logic & Structured Design-A Problem Solving Approach
This course teaches students how to create structured solutions along with the relevant logic to various business problems as a basis for development of information systems/applications. During the instruction concepts of data representation and data modeling such as flow-charts, logic diagrams, data dictionaries, interactivity charts, algorithms, etc. are discussed. The course is designed to provide students with insights for object oriented system design.
IS 300-Management Information Systems-An overview perspective
his course is designed to provide an overview of design, implementation, and strategic use of modern, computer-based information systems in business, data processing, office automation, information reporting, and decision-making. Various information systems security measures and controls are discussed within the scope of this course. Students are also provided with insights for aligning business and IT efforts. |
