At
present, I am progressing towards my Proposal Defense
for the degree of PHD at the Information
Systems Department of University
of Maryland at Baltimore County (UMBC), MD.
Prior to my academic tenure at UMBC,
I earned a Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Chemistry at
Faculty
of Science, The
Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, India.
Then, I pursued a part-time Bachelor's of Legislative Laws (LLB)
at Faculty
of Law, The Maharaja
Sayajirao University of Baroda. While pursuing LLB, I worked as a marketing executive with comapanies like Crompton
Greaves (I) Ltd for short tenures marketing their products to
consumers. During these years I developed interest in studying Information Systems and enrolled into an MBA program
at Hofstra
University, NY. I earned my MBA in May 2001.
I joined the PhD program
at Stevens
Institute of Technology, NJ in the Fall of 2002. In the Fall of 2003 I transfered
to UMBC, MD.
I
was born in the beautiful city of Vadodara,
India where my parents are settled. I married Dr.
Mansi Grover, PhD in economics from Virginia
Polytechnic Institute and State University, VA
in 2004. I hope that the information presented on
this website will help form a brief perspective on
my academic/research career and associations. If you
