At
present, I am in the third year of my PhD at the Information
Systems Department of University
of Maryland at Baltimore County (UMBC), MD.
Prior to my academic tenure at UMBC,
I earned a Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Chemistry at
Faculty
of Science, The
Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, India.
Then, I pursued a part-time Bachelor's of Legislative Laws (LLB)
at Faculty
of Law, The Maharaja
Sayajirao University of Baroda. While pursuing LLB, I worked as a marketing executive with comapanies like Crompton
Greaves (I) Ltd for short tenures marketing their products to
consumers. During these years I developed interest in studying Information Systems and enrolled into an MBA program
at Hofstra
University, NY. I earned my MBA in May 2001.
I joined the PhD program
at Stevens
Institute of Technology, NJ in the Fall of 2002. In the Fall of 2003 I transfered
to UMBC, MD.
I
was born in the beautiful city of Vadodara,
India where my parents are settled. I recently started
my own family with Dr. Mansi
Grover, PhD in economics from Virginia
Polytechnic Institute and State University, VA.
