My Life

• I was born and raised in the state of Wisconsin, where I have one sister (18 years old) and one half brother (9 years old). They are my best friends and we get along so well. My parents are divorced, so I also have had a stepmom since I was 5 years old. My dad is a Financial Advisor and my mom is an Accountant. My mom is my idol because she basically raised my sister and myself while also working full time to support us. I am so greatful for her because she gave me an awesome life and without her I would not be a division- 1 college athlete right now pursuing my dreams. My first love was to play volleyball when I was about 9 years old. Since then, I have been on a volleyball team almost the entire year of every year. I have had many accomplishments in volleyball and it has taught me so many life lessons that I will use for the rest of my life. I have led my high school team to a state championship appearance, led my club to national appearances, and have had many awards for excellent performance along the way. Now, I am a student- athlete at UMBC where I am majoring in Psychology. My sister, Amanda, also shares that passion for volleyball and she is playing as a freshman at the University of West Florida. Along with volleyball, I also played softball and basketball for a few years during middle school and high school. I am a part of the Catholic Church and have done many things to help my community through community service, which is something I love to do. I also enjoy cooking and baking with friends and family. My best friend in the entire world is Sarah Joy and I also have had a boyfriend for the past year who I absolutely adore. I am so thankful for all the love and support I have, and these people mean the world to me!
