A: Because the www directory allows all users to read and list the contents of it with the permission setting "system:anyuser rl". The home directory does not have this permission setting. The permission setting "system:anyuser rl" permits any user who is logged in to an NJIT AFS'd machine to look at (read) any file in that directory (provided that user has at least l permission up to the directory in question.) http://userpages.umbc.edu/~ademar1/input.htm 9/28/2006(416) ademar1@umbc.edu 9/28/2006(416) mickey@disney.com 9/28/2006(416) arnar.umbc@mac.com 9/28/2006(416) arnarbuy1@mac.com 9/28/2006(416) arnarthor@googlemail.com
