    The popularity of Tang Soo Do among women can be attributed to the nature of Tang Soo Do techniques and personal needs such as self-defense, weight reduction, physical fitness, developing sportsmanlike posture, and healing illness. In fact, because Tang Soo Do places a great emphasis upon flexibility, which is inherent in females, the techniques of Tang Soo Do are ideally suited to the female anatomy.

    Synthesis of Tang Soo Do techniques are taught in a manner specially geared to the needs of women's self- defense and can last a lifetime.
