GROUP
ORAL REPORTS
GUIDELINES: Each group will present
an oral report on a specific type of grammar, punctuation, or error in
grammar.
The report should explain what the type of grammar or error is, why
people use the type or make the error,
and how people can correct the error or use the type correctly.
The group grade for the
report
will focus on the quality of the information, use of specifics,
participation
of all group members, clarity, and conciseness. The group will
supplement the report with PowerPoint slides:
- The title slide will
give the title of the report and the names of all group members.
- The second slide will
act as an introduction and give an overview of the report.
- The body of the report
starts with the third slide. There should be at least one slide
for each main point. Supplement the main point with
specifics. For instance, one slide may give an example of the
grammar error and its correction. The number of body slides will
vary.
- The conclusion slide
will summarize the main points covered in the body and ask for
questions from the audience.

minutes.
